大家上午好!我今天演讲的题目是《借力新课标新高考,培养英语核心素养》。

英语是当今世界广泛使用的语言,是国际交流与合作的重要沟通工具,是思想与文化的重要载体。学习和使用英语对吸取人类优秀文明成果、借鉴外国先进科学技术、传播中华文化、增进中国与其他国家的相互理解具有重要的意义和作用。为了促进英语的高效教学,新课程标准提出英语核心素养的先进理念。

英语学科核心素养是学生在接受相应学段英语课程教育的过程中,逐步形成和提升的适应个人终身发展和社会发展需要的必备品格和关键能力,综合表现为四大素养,由语言能力、文化品格、思维品质和学习能力组成。就其关系而言,语言能力是基础要素,文化品格是价值取向,思维品质是心智表征,学习能力是发展条件。英语学科核心素养涵盖了知识、能力和态度,四大核心素养相互渗透,融合互动,协调发展,是所有学生应具有的、学以致用的基础性综合素养。

为了更好提高落实新课标,提高学生的核心素养,我结合核心素养的四个方面谈一下自己的体会和建议。

一、探究课程内容,提升语言能力

语言能力是指在社会情境中,以听、说、读、看、写等方式理解和表达意义、意图和情感态度的能力。英语语言能力构成英语学科核心素养的基础,是学生发展文化品格、思维品质和学习能力的依托。英语语言能力的提高有助于学生拓宽文化视野,丰富思维方式,在全球化背景下开展跨文化交流。

教师要深入研读语篇,把握教学核心内容。研读语篇就是读者对语篇的主题、内容、文体结构、语言特点、作者观点等做深入的解读。教师要积极研究如何在教学中落实培养学生学科核心素养的目标,探索有效的教与学的方式,努力实践以主题意义为引领的英语学习活动观,实施深度教学。教师必须深入研究课程内容,提炼重点,设计有效的教学活动,通过听说读写训练,提高学生的语言能力。

二、发掘优秀文化思想,培养文化品格

文化品格是指对中外文化的理解和对优秀文化的认同,是学生在全球化背景下表现出的文化意识、人文修养和行为取向。文化品格体现英语学科核心素养的价值取向。文化品格的培育有助于学生树立世界眼光,增强国家认同感和家国情怀,学会做人做事,成长为有文化修养和社会责任感的人。

落实立德树人根本任务,培养学生英语学科核心素养。教师应当充分把握教材的编写理念、设计思路应突出英语学科的育人价值,有机融入社会主义核心价值观,将立德树人的根本任务落到实处。要紧密围绕、依据学科核心素养来确立教材内容,无论是语篇和主题的选择还是相应的教学活动设计,都要体现对学科核心素养的培养价值,有利于学生发展语言能力,形成良好的文化品格和思维品质,学会学习,树立正确的价值观和审美观,提高学生的文化品格。

三、创设丰富多彩活动,促进思维品质升华

思维品质指人的思维个性特征,反映其在思维的逻辑性、批判性、创造性等方面所表现的能力和水平。思维品质体现英语学科核心素养的心智发展。思维品质的发展有助于提升学生分析问题和解决问题的能力,从跨文化的视角观察和认识世界,对事物作出正确的价值判断,促进学生的深度学习。

具体而言,学习理解类活动主要指基于语篇的学习活动。以解决问题为目的,鼓励学生从语篇中获得新知,通过梳理、概括、整合信息,建立信息间的关联,形成新的知识结构,感知并理解语言所表达的意义和语篇所承载的文化价值取向。迁移创新类活动主要指超越语篇的学习活动。通过自主、合作、探究的学习方式,综合运用语言技能,进行多元思维,创造性地解决陌生情境中的问题。英语学习活动的设计应注意。情境创设要尽量真实,注意与学生已有的知识和经验建立紧密联系,力求直接、简洁、有效。教师要善于利用多种工具和手段,思维导图或信息结构图,引导学生通过自主与合作相结合的方式,完成对信息的获取与梳理、概括与整合、内化与运用,教会学生在零散的信息和新旧知识之间建立关联,归纳和提炼基于主题的新知识结构。

四、分组合作教学,培养学习能力

学习能力指学生积极运用和主动调适英语学习策略、拓宽英语学习渠道、努力提升英语学习效率的意识和能力。学习能力构成英语学科核心素养发展的必要条件。学习能力的形成有助于学生做好英语学习的自我管理,养成良好的学习习惯,拓宽学习渠道,提高学习效率。

我校的课改:问题引领,学案导学,其实在学习能力的培养方面已经具有了相对成熟的经验。为培养学生自主、合作、探究的学习能力,教师要为学生创设支持和激励的学习环境。在教学中,教师要有意识地给予指导;课中组织小组合作学习与探究活动;课后布置适量的拓展性作业。此外,教师要在教学中帮助学生学会选择适合自己的学习方法和策略,主动参与学习活动并尝试自我评价和同伴互评,养成自我反思的习惯,在体验自主学习、合作学习和探究式学习的过程中学会学习。教师要在教学过程中帮助学生形成适合自己的学习方法和策略。教师也可以引导学生交流学习方法和策略,互帮互学。教师要引导学生养成自我反思的习惯,反思自己的学习兴趣和动机、学习方法和策略、语言能力现状和发展进程,帮助学生不断发展自主学习能力,成为有责任担当的学习者。

作为世界上最通用的语言,英语不仅是生活工作中的交流工具,更是音乐电影文学宗教艺术的等文化载体。教师应当以英语核心素养为指导,深挖教材,围绕主题,借助现代信息技术,通过丰富多彩的活动,提高学生的语言能力、文化品格、思维品质和学习能力,让学生提高综合素质,为祖国培养优秀人才。

一、注重教学过程管理,强调先进教学方法和理念的实施。

如何充分发挥小学英语在实现教育目标中的功能,从而体现小学英语在整个课程中的地位和作用,是小学英语教学必须重视的问题。英语学习的启蒙阶段是非常重要的,教学的成功与否将对学生的终身学习产生深远影响。小学开设英语课程的目的在于培养学生学习英语的积极情感,形成初步的英语语感,打好语音、语调的基础,具备用所学英语进行交流的初级能力。通过英语课程的学习,丰富社会生活经历、开拓视野、树立学习的自信心。为此在实际教学中我们要求广大教师积极实践和探索,在教学目标、课程实施、教学方法、教学评价等方面做到层层推进。在实践过程中应该明确以下几点:

1.在教学总体目标上,重兴趣、重成就感、重自信心的培养。教师通过多种激励的方式,如奖品激励、任务激励、荣誉激励、信任激励和情感激励等,激发学生积极参与、大胆实践、体验成功的喜悦。有了成就感,就有了自信心,学生就会渴望学习英语;在课程实施上,重环境、重频率、重效率。教学中特别强调语言环境的创设,充分利用和开发电视、录音、录像、光碟等多种媒体,丰富教学内容、活跃教学气氛、创设生动和真实的语言环境。尽量在课堂上创造真实的情境,克服课时少的困难,并且按排早读课及时复习,保证学生高频率的接触英语,为学生创造有效的学习条件,提高学习效率;在语言教学目标上,重语感、重语音语调基础、重交流能力。学校和教师积极创造条件,提供良好的语言环境和设备,通过提供大量的感知、体验、模仿等实践活动,帮助学生形成初步的语感。语音语调的学习包括发音、重音、语调、节奏和语流等多方面,教学中要求教师防止以单音准确为目的的教学,通过多听、多模仿,在有意义的语境中进行训练,奠定语音语调的基础。强调要培养学生交流能力就要创设交流的情景,使学生通过交流发展交流的能力。

2.在教学模式和方法上,重体验、重实践、重参与、重创造。要求教学设计贴近生活,符合小学生兴趣的需求;教学内容能引起学生的兴趣,例如韵律诗歌、寓言故事、会话表演、游戏等;教学的语言材料要真实、实用。学生在课上通过用中学、学中用,反复实践,学用结合。功能、结构、话题、任务做到有机结合;以话题为核心,以功能和结构为主线,以任务型活动为目标安排各单元或各课的教学;通过视、听、说、玩、唱、画、游、读、写、译等饶有趣味的活动,让学生接触足够量的语言材料,保证输入量,“习得”与“学得”结合,使学生逐步培养起初步的语感;通过大量语言材料的输入,特别是声像材料的示范,学生模仿,教师指导,使学生逐步形成良好的语音、语调、书写、拼读的习惯。设计任务型活动,开放空间,激活学生的思维,培养创造思维。自始至终引导学生通过完成具体任务活动来学习语言,让学生为了特定的学习目的去进行特定的语言活动,通过完成特定的交际任务来获得和积累相应的学习经验。教学方法要多样,且生动活泼,激发学生的学习兴趣。充分利用教科书中的课文创设栩栩如生的情景,为学生提供使用英语进行交流的机会。实践中,我们发现每当孩子们进入角色,成功地做成一件事,他们便情不自禁,喜形于色,因此兴趣倍增、信心加强,动机和情意受到了很大的激励。同时要求布置的练习形式要多种多样,做到手、脑、口、耳、眼、肢、体并用,静态、动态相结合,基本操练与自由练习相结合,单项和综合练习相结合。通过大量的实践,使学生具有良好的语音、语调、书写和拼读的基础,并能用英语表情达意,开展简单的交流活动。

二、创设良好的语言学习环境,扩展英语教学的时空。

⒈灵活安排教学组织和课堂,以学生为主体,充分调动学生的积极性,开展两人小组、多人小组、成行、成排、半班等多种形式的活动。这是小学英语教学的重要特点之一。只有开展这些活动才能使每一个学生充分地参与课堂实践,才能体现出语言的交际性,才能实现师生之间和学生之间的互动性。课堂上课桌椅的摆放形式根据教学的需要采用不同的方式——秧田式、半圆式、全圆式、双圆式等,目的是为了更好地开展各种教学活动。这样做可以促进师生之间的情感交流,而且可以帮助学生培养起互相关心,合作的团队精神。

⒉采用多种媒体的现代化教学手段,创设良好的语言环境和充分的语言实践机会,优化。利用英语教学音像资源——图画、图表、投影、录音、录像、cd、vcd、dvd等,不仅能为学生提供规范的语音、语调,还可以提供真实自然的语言使用的示范,即语言使用的场合、时间、对象等,而且还有体态语——手势、动作、表情等的示范。多种媒体的运用使教学变得生动、形象、活泼,感染力强,容易激发学生兴趣,引起有意注意,加深印象,帮助学生持久记忆。充分利用现代化教学手段,可以超越时间和空间的限制,使学生置身于以英语为母语的环境中,体验英语的实际运用。的使用可以使教学过程程序化,大大提高教学的效率,这一点对我们课时少的小学英语课尤为重要。

⒊把英语学习从有限的课内时空扩展到无限的课外时空,成立小小英语角、学校布置英语走廊、让学生制作英语画刊等各种形式的活动极大地提高了学生学英语的热情,让学生感受到英语无处不在、无时不学。

三、努力总结和发现问题,及时调整。

在实际教学过程中,教师应积极实践,不断探索,针对实际工作中出现的问题和学生身心特点,总结规律,认真思考,不断摸索。尤其是在中教师应具备良好的应变机制。①学习过程要有趣味性、有意义,要有利于激发学生主动参与的欲望。②善于利用学生的生活体验,通过让学生交流,使他们对所学语言产生亲切感,从而激发学习动机。及时、正确地给予评价激发学生的成就感,从而产生学习的新动力。常常采用师生问答形式,学生感到枯燥、厌烦。教师让学生与长毛绒动物握手交流,学生兴趣倍增。

四、认真进行质量监控、积极推进评价改革

采用人本与发展的模式来理解教育和人类发展的关系,是当前教育理念的核心,即尊重个体和个体差异,实施因材施教,实现全人教育,为个体的终身学习打下基础。因此,在教学中必须实施新的评价理念,提倡形成性评价和终结性评价有机结合。做到评价主体互动化,评价内容多元化,评价过程动态化。评价的基本目标是为了教育并促进学生的表现,要求教师尊重和爱护每个学生的学习积极性,对学生的成绩和点滴进步适时地加以肯定。采用口头表扬和精神奖励的方式,如奖给小红花、红星、纸制奖牌、课文中的人物卡通图片等。特别要注意对学习后进的学生所取得的进步及时给予表扬。要求评价形式具有多样性和可选择性,以形成性评价为主,以学生平时参与各种英语教学活动所表现的兴趣、态度和交流能力为主要依据。采用学生平时教学活动中常见的方式进行,重视学生的态度、参与的积极性、努力的程度、交流的能力以及合作的精神等。通过观察学生的活动(讲故事、说歌谣、唱歌曲、表演对话或短剧等),与学生交流,学生的自评、互评等生动活泼的方式进行。很多学校建立了学生的评价档案。如学生的语音、书写记录,学生参与小组活动的情况记载,学生课余时间的学习拓展情况等统统作为学期总成绩评定的指标参考。由于注重对学生平时学习情况及时地进行评价,有效地提高了学生学英语的积极性。除形成性评价外,小学三年级期末或学年考试以口试和听力考查为主,五、六年级采用口试、听力、笔试相结合的方式。口试主要考查学生实际的语言应用能力;笔试主要考查学生听和读的技能以及初步的写作能力。评价采用等级制或达标方法记成绩,不对学生按成绩排队或以此作为各种评比或选拔的依据。教学评价是为学习服务的,目的在于提高学生学习的效率,成为学生学习的动力和源泉,为学生的终身发展服务。

There is a way. You don’t have to be born with self-confidence. Self-confidence can grow and flourish and ripen and blossom until you actually come to feel as though there is a different person inside of you. Here are some insights that might facilitate the quest.

Learn what a self-confident person is really like. They are not cocky, know-it-all people who don’t care what anybody else thinks. They have their doubts. And make mistakes. And are far from perfect. However, they are willing to acknowledge their inadequacies without dwelling on them. They do this by maintaining a sense of humor, putting problems in perspective, and focusing mainly on what they’ve done right, not wrong.

Though self-confident people do believe in themselves, they don’t try to suffocate others with their ideas or beliefs. They are confident in what they know not only because they read, learn and think but also because they respect their instinct, intuition and the unique body of knowledge that they’ve developed by living life. They realize that one doesn"t have to be labeled an “expert” to believe in one"s own truths.

Self-confident people don’t undermine their own worth by comparing themselves with others, only to conclude that they aren’t “good enough”。 They appreciate their strengths and accomplishments and can acknowledge, without embarrassment, their weaknesses. They don’t live in the “victim” position. Even if something really bad has occurred, they turn it into a challenge, remembering to be grateful for the little things in life.

I would like to share with you a true story about Nicholas James Vujicic. He was born with Tetra-amelia, a rare disorder characterized by the absence of all four limbs. He struggled as a child, eventually came to terms with his disability and started his own non-profit organization Life Without Limbs – at age seventeen. He is widely known as a motivational speaker, giving talks worldwide on life with a disability, hope, and finding meaning in life.

He was bullied at school, Vujicic grew depressed and by the age of 8, contemplated suicide. At age 10, he tried to drown himself in 4 inches of water, but did not go through with it out of love for his parents. After praying to grow arms and legs, Vujicic eventually realized that his accomplishments could inspire others – and became grateful for his life. A key turning point came when his mother showed him a newspaper article about a man dealing with a severe disability. Vujicic realized he wasn"t unique in his struggles and began to embrace and transcend his disability.

This man, the soldier of life, came to my hometown 2 months ago. I got to listen to him, and talk to him, face to face. I could never forget the look in his face when he said “when I was young, I always feel cold, and dark. My first dream was to grow arms and legs, but there is no future for me at all. ” And now, 28 years has passed since he was born, 28 years without arms and legs. Nick’s first dream didn"t come true, but he didn"t lose his faith of himself, and the faith of this life.

Nick is living a life without limbs, and also a life without limits. Compare to him, young people, there is no excuses to lose our faith in ourselves and this world. I understand that life couldn"t be anything we want it to be, and life couldn"t bring us everything we long for, sometimes, life even takes away our cherished ones. However, we are young; we are the hope of the whole world. Faith is right there within our reach.

Never lose faith, let us make to our life, to our future a dear promise.

with corporate10 profits at near record highs, we should encourage corporations to invest more in research and development and the salaries of their employees. it"s time for us to invest in educational opportunity to guarantee that we have the most highly skilledworkforce11 in the world, for 6 out of every 10 jobs in the near term is going to require some education beyond high school. folks, it"s long past due to increase the minimum wage that will lift millions of hardworking families out of poverty target poverty and in the process produce a ripple12 effect that boosts wages for the middle class and spurs economic growth for the united states of america. economists13 acknowledge that if we do these and other things, wages will go up and we"ll increase the gross domestic product of the united states.

my fellow americans, we know how to do this. we"ve done it before. it"s the way we used to do business and we can do it that way again. all the middle class in this country want is a chance. no guarantee, just a chance.

americans want to work. and when given a fair shot, the american worker has never, ever, ever, let his country down. folks, it"s never a good bet to bet against the american people.
